There are very few variations of the SN95 Mustang that are more rare or more collectible than the 1996 Mustang Mystic Cobra. The Mystic Cobra was a 1 year only color that was produced by Ford in collaboration with DuPont. To this day, the formulation of the paint is one of Ford's most closely guarded secrets. This 1996 Mustang Mystic Cobra is an excellent example of these seldom seen Mustangs. This true LF-paint code Mystic Cobra is powered by its original 32 valve, 4.6 liter 305 horsepower V8 and is backed by its original 5 speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform flawlessly, like you would expect a 19,500 original mile car to perform. The engine still retains its manufacturing tag signed by the gentlemen who assembled the engine in Romeo, Michigan. Despite being hand-assembled in Michigan, the aluminum blocks for these 32 valve, 4.6 liter V8's were produced at the Teksid engine plant in Italy. The exterior is still finished in the correct Mystic paint that this Cobra Mustang received from the factory and is in excellent condition with only one minor dent/chip to note in front of the passenger side rear wheel well.
