When it comes to the replica 427 Cobras, Everett-Morrison has always been known for their quality and styling. This 1967 Everett-Morrison Shelby 427 Cobra replica was professionally built in 2006 by CVR Automotive with no donor parts. The Everett-Morrison chassis is steel tube construction with 4" diameter, round, steel tube main runners. This Shelby Cobra is powered by a blue-printed, Ford Racing 418 cubic inch stroker V8 and backed by a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform excellent. Transferring the power to the rear wheels is a Ford 8.8" independent rear-end equipped with 3.27 final drive gears. Delivering that aggressive V8 roar, that we all love to hear from these Cobras, are the correct style Cobra side pipes. The independent rear, in conjunction with the full coilover suspension, allows this Cobra to handle much better than the original. Bringing this Cobra to a stop are the power, four-wheel disc brakes. The custom Citric Pearl, White Diamond pearl and Nero Black exterior exterior is in excellent condition with only minor defects to note. The exterior is complimented nicely by custom molded fog lamps, custom molded hood scoop, single roll bar, rear LED brake lights, and staggered, 3-piece, Compomotive Halibrand-style wheels. The Tan leather interior is nicely finished with Everett-Morrison bucket seats, leather-padded door panels, leather-padded dash, Cobra-style steering wheel, Pistol-grip shifter, and Autometer gauges. The interior is in excellent condition with no visible wear. This excellent Everett-Morrison Cobra also comes with the sought after and rarely seen full canvas soft-top and full canvas tonneau cover. Both the convertible top and cover fit very well. Included in the sale is a copy of the magazine the car was featured in, and documents from the build.
