The 1968 Bullitt Mustang is one of the most iconic cars to be featured in a movie. It's no surprise that Ford wanted to pay tribute to one of their most famous movie cars. Ford really did an amazing job of capturing the magic of the original Bullitt Mustang with their 2019 Bullitt Mustang GT. Almost every aspect of the standard GT was modified to give the Mustang that understated cool factor that the original 1968 Bullitt had. These modifications resulted in 20HP increase and an output of 480HP from the factory. Backing the 480HP, 5.0 liter V8 is a 6-speed manual transmission. This drivetrain combination results in a very exciting driving experience befitting such a special tribute car. The handling and driving experience is enhanced by the independent rear suspension.
