The Chevrolet Nova has always been a popular choice for muscle car enthusiasts and drag racers alike due to its lightweight, unibody chassis and large engine bay with enough room to fit whatever powerplant your heart desires. From the factory, the 1970 Nova could be optioned with a number of capable V8 engines including the very potent L78 375HP 396 cubic inch V8 but, for some, even that was not enough. That is the case here with this beautiful and very potent 1970 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Street. This Nova benefits from a repaint in its current Champagne Pearl Metallic that shines very well. The Champagne Pearl Metallic exterior is in overall excellent condition and is nicely complimented by the Nova's factory chrome and stainless trim, fiberglass cowl induction hood and polished Weld wheels. The front wheels are wrapped in Hoosier Pro-Street tires and the rear wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson Street ET's. The Nova's Black vinyl interior is in very good condition. The interior features a factory style dash equipped with a touch screen datalogger in place of the factory gauge cluster, high back bucket seats, and an 8-point roll cage. When it comes to this Nova, the gorgeous exterior presentation is only the beginning of the story. Powering this Pro-Street Nova is a very well built, fuel-injected and turbocharged 408 cubic inch small block V8. As soon as you open the hood, the time and attention that went into the build of this extremely potent 408 cubic inch V8 becomes apparent. Only the best components were utilized during the build including: Fast electronic fuel injections system, 95# injectors, Magna Fuel (MP-4702) high pressure fuel pump, AMS 1000 boost controller, water-to-air intercooler, Turbonetics Y2K T88 ball bearing turbocharger, Lunati cam, Edelbrock Victor Jr. Aluminum heads, Holley 90mm throttle body, Edelbrock 90-degree throttle body elbow, Edelbrock Victor "E" intake manifold and Wiseco forged pistons. Transferring the power from the engine to the very stout Ford 9" differential is a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed automatic transmisison equipped with a reverse manual valve body and Hurst Quarter Stick ratchet shifter. Helping bring this capable Nova to a stop is a 4-wheel Wilwood disc brake setup. This 1970 Nova handles the road very well thanks to upgraded Heidts upper front control arms, Lakewood drag shocks, and traction bars in the rear. The build of this gorgeous Pro-Street Nova is very well documented by a folder of receipts and brochures for the many parts that make up this fantastic Nova. If you are in the market for a turn-key pro-street muscle car or a very well built 3rd generation Nova with more than enough power to rocket you down the road with ease while presenting very well at your local cruise-in or car show, then you will want to take a very close look at this 1970 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Street.
