The Dodge Coronet was a popular, mid-size offering from Chrysler built to compete with cars such as Ford's Fairlane and Chevrolet's Chevelle in the 1960's. The Coronet was offered in a number of different trim levels, with the highest level being the Road and Track (R/T) package. The R/T package was a new offering on the Coronet starting in 1967 and with it, the Coronet received a stiffer suspension package and the very potent 375 HP 440 cubic inch V8 as the standard powerplant. This 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T is an excellent example of these very desirable MOPAR muscle cars. This Coronet R/T benefits from an extensive, older restoration that still presents very well today.
